This review is for the Dagmar Snow School - a great choice for a well-organized and well-run after school ski & snowboard program. Prices are reasonable and the snow school was flexible on the nights we needed to postpone due to inclement weather. Parents were able to take part in the snow school program at a discounted flat rate, a great way to try out a new sport as a family. Planning materials were clear and thorough and communication with Meredith was prompt. Dagmar is easy to get to in relation to many Durham schools. Highly recommended spot if you’re looking to run a ski/snowboard program for your school. Thank you Meredith, Samantha and the snow school team for another great season!

Very impressed with this little hill! The snow quality was top notch. The staff were very helpful. I watched a family struggling to speak English so the supervisor ran downstairs and found an employee who spoke their language and helped them out. Kudos to the supervisor and the other employee. There's a huge amount of beginner terrain. The terrain park is also huge. Lots of features ranging from S to XL. The lift lines were also virtually non-existent. Overall, this place is perfect for beginners to learn and park rats to have fun!

Its a small ski resort but the hills are well kept and perfect for people learning and offer a challenge for those with experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and their lunch options are well-priced. We always have a great time skiing at Dagmar!

I showed up 2 days early for the start of 2025 26 season. I was disappointed that I wasn’t allowed to walk up to the top and at least get one run in before leaving. I can’t believe I drove 10 minutes north for this. When I came back on real opening day I was given 10 Dagmar dollars, so I decided to buy an Anytime Pass. You guys lose one star for not having a military discount….and because a hamburger costs $14.50. Snow conditions were nice, lifty’s and other staff are nice, but the coffee is too expensive, $3.50…more expensive than Starbucks. The double blacks aren’t open yet, I came here, so they should be open, but they’re not. Also heard other people asking about the double blacks. I grew up in Durham region, I left for about 20 years, now I’m back. I can’t remember what Dagmar was like during grade 5 field trips, but I’ve been here before. First season back for me in about 4 years because of life, and a knee surgery on my right knee that already had a knee surgery. The sport sure has changed; There's no more diving in the shallow water for some reason. I guess I’ll have to live with that. Batawa near Trenton has a fire pit at the bottom of the hill. You should do this. You should also open the double blacks, this is important.

Went there on a school trip. All the students had a fantastic time. The instructors were all very helpful and taught the kids well. Many were skiing and snowboarding on their own by my the afternoon.

Went to Dagmar for the first time today with my snow skates (watch the attached video). The weather didn't make for the best conditions, but the resort did its best to make it very enjoyable. The entire staff and team there are amazing and down to earth. Special shout outs to: Mackenzie who got my lift ticket sorted; Mark down in rentals who helped me get my snow skates sharpened and ready to go; Tyler, who let all the lift operators know I had snow skates on; Abby, who was super friendly and made sure everyone was safe on the lift; Fiona for having a good sense of humor; and Julia, who took great care of me at the bar. I'm looking forward to returning next season for sure....or if we get a late snow dump, again this season!!

Park at Dagmar is probably the best in GTA. Lots of jumps, features and spaces to let loose. Looks like they are expanding park right now! Cannot wait for next season.

I’ve been coming to Dagmar Ski Resort for 3 years straight now. Started learning how to snowboard here and as the passion grew, I was able to progress in a safe, positive and family oriented environment provided by Dagmar. Starting from the super friendly staff members ranging from the front office to the lift operators, and even the ski patrol are very cool and laid back as they are attentive to the hill. The trails are fun and interesting ranging from greens and blues to the black diamonds, and the terrain park is suitable for all skill levels, making you want to progress the more you come back! Dagmar hosts fun and interactive events throughout the winter season such as WorldSnowDay! Where customers and ski/snowboard families and enthusiasts can join in on fun things like photo and video contests with cool prizes. The community built at and around Dagmar has truly made this place a second home to me, as I could go on about how much I love this place. The fellow skiers and snowboarders make it fun and wholesome with every interaction and the staff keep everything running for us to enjoy. Never a bad day at Dagmar Ski Resort!
